Strategy Intern

The Background
Elephant is a a digital agency under IPG working to take ambitious brands to new worlds. The account I worked on during this internship was Xfinity/Comcast, Stitch Fix, and new business pitches.


The Role
Through the 4A’s Foundation’s Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP), Elephant selected me to be a Strategy Intern for the summer. During my internship, I performed various tasks such as creating a weekly Slack newsletter to report on the latest trends and news related to artificial intelligence, assisting with building an experience audit, and observing UX researchers as they prepare and conduct user testing.



Qualitative Research on Artificial Intelligence 


At Elephant, I conducted in-depth qualitative research to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients, industries, and customer journeys. My analysis informed the development of effective product strategies. To foster employee engagement and awareness of emerging technologies, I created and managed a weekly Slack newsletter, "The AI Round Up," dedicated to the latest AI news and trends.



Building an Experience Audit/4Cs Deck 


I conducted in-depth research to understand the existing user experience and identify opportunities for improvement. This included documenting app experiences, researching business challenges, and analyzing customer journeys. My work helped to shape the company's strategic direction and ultimately contributed to winning Stitch Fix as a client.
