Employer Brand Content Internship
The Background: GOAT Group is home to the leading platforms dedicated to authentic sneakers, apparel, and accessories — GOAT, Flight Club, Grailed, and alias.
The Role: As an Employer Brand Content Intern at GOAT Group, my role involved conducting initial research, brainstorming ideas, and collaborating with the Marketing, Content, Communications, Brand, and People Teams on internal and external projects.
Racíes
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, GOAT Group partnered with artist and curator Anita Herrera and photographer Fabian Guerrero to create a photo essay reflecting on Latino/a/x/e experience and identity.
Titled “Raíces” (Spanish for “roots”), the digital zine features eight GOAT Group employees sharing their own stories of pride and strength as Latino/a/x/es. Each employee selected a location that was meaningful to them and their identities for their photoshoots. Through conversations with Anita, we then explored their diverse and multilayered experiences.

For The Love of Kicks x GOAT
GOAT Group partnered with For The Love of Kicks. I helped with leading and setting up the volunteer orientation for the Summer Bash, organized volunteer sign-up forms, coordinated with FTLOK’s founder to get finalized details, wrote information sheets for the volunteers, and crafted a brief to share with the larger MarCom team to help them understand what the events were all about.
Content Curation & Social Calendar
I cut clips and audio snippets along with written quotes from previous GOAT Group content for future social media usage. I also developed a social media calendar highlighting content moments for the Marketing and Communications Team to reference in the future.
Behind The Scenes
Additional “behind the scenes” projects I worked on included building out an instructional guide to Medium to help the MarCom and Engineering Team understand how the platform works, brainstorming creative ways GOAT Group can partner with Los Angeles-based non-profits/organizations, suggesting ideas for GOAT Group’s 2024 Content Roadmap, building out an internal employee engagement competition, and assisting the People Ops Team re-imagine their in-person new hire event for the virtual setting.
